Best before 6 months from the date of packing. The packing date is printed on the pouch.

How should I store cashews at home?

Keep them in a cool, dry place, in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight. The zip on the pouch keeps the rest of the pack closed between servings.

How will I know cashews have gone off?

Rancidity is the oils inside the kernel breaking down. Kernels first lose their crunch, then taste sharp or smell stale. When that happens, it is time to bin the pack.

Grades & products

What does the W in W180 mean?

W stands for a whole kernel. The number is roughly how many kernels make up a pound, so a smaller number means a bigger kernel: W180 is our largest grade and W450 our smallest.

What are splits?

Kernels that have split cleanly into two halves. They carry the same taste as whole kernels, and they suit grinding into pastes and cooking.

Which grade should I choose?

W210 for everyday snacking, W320 for gravies and mithai, W450 for baking and pastes, and W180 or the Gift Edition for gifting. The grade guide compares all eight products.

What pack sizes do you sell?

Pouches come in 100 g, 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg. The Gift Edition is a single 250 g pouch, ready to give.

Food safety & allergens

Do your cashews contain allergens?

Cashew kernels are the only ingredient. Cashew is a tree nut — an allergen that food labels must declare — so please keep that in mind if anyone sharing the pack has a tree-nut allergy.

Why are cashews never sold in the shell?

The shell of the raw nut carries a caustic liquid, chemically related to the irritant that makes poison ivy sting. Every kernel we sell has been steamed or roasted and shelled before packing.

Are you FSSAI registered?

Yes. Our processing premises are FSSAI registered: Reg. No. 20726025001710.

Where can I see nutrition information?

Every pouch label lists energy 596 kcal, protein 21.2 g, carbohydrate 22.3 g, fat 46.9 g, sodium 5 mg (typical values; lab report to follow)
